Exclamation The Comic Box #52 AND 'Special Missions' #3 !!!

Welcome to The Comic Box. This is a discussion thread for the GI Joe comics. We start at Marvel’s #1 and move thru the series every week. It’s a chance to give your thoughts, opinions and remarks about the comic in question.

#52. Snap Decisions

~Short Summary~
Serpentor returns to Cobra Island a hero, and is despised by Cobra Commander. The Commander tries to have him killed, and Serpentor turns it to his own benefit, twice. Storm Shadow, in The Pit, talks with Snake-Eyes about his recent transformation. Snake-Eyes forgives him and gives him the keys to his place up in the High Sierras.

~Notes of Interest~
Lady Jaye, Snow Job and Torpedo appearances are only as disguises by Zarana and the Dreadnoks.
Storm Shadow explains how he survived being shot by the Baroness using the Sleeping Phoenix technique and for the first time learns that Scarlett loves Snake-Eyes.

i enjoyed this issue just because of the conflict between Serpentor and CC, after only one issue the ||Commander sees what a bad idea it was to have Serpentor made this issue also starts laying down the foundation for the Cobra civil war which was my favorite storyline in all the comics, i never did like the whole sleeping phoniex and how Storm Shadow just explained it seemed kind of like "oh yeah i wasn't really dead just takin a nap" this was just a stupid concept in my opinion, still the overall story was good

...and the seeds of the Cobra Civil war are sown! Not a bad issue, all things considered. And Special Missions #3 was a pretty cool one-off story as well.
