You know, it's bad enough that I think the 25th Anny stuff is crap, but now they even went from 3 figures in a comic Pack to two! Blah!

I think it's now down to 2 figures in comic packs because that's how the Star Wars one's run.
I'm actually liking this line a lot, and I'm not ashammed to admit that. However, that said, I do not feel that the 25th is in any way shape or form a continuation of the Joe lines of the past. Instead it's a new start, similar to what Mattel and Playmates did with He-Man and Ninja Turtles. I guess there's a big nostalgia factor here for me as well, as I do love ripping them out of the oldschool cards!
And the CG looks sweet! Despite his tiny helmet. Wave 5 looks to be the best yet, what with the CG, Flash, and Destro not to mention the all black Snake Eyes (finally!). I'm really looking forward to Flash though!!!
I'm really hoping they get to Recondo and Alpine soon!!!

I agree with you completely, Prince Adam -- I see this as an all-new line. The fact that they're not to scale with the old stuff, as well as being total remakes of the old designs rather than revamps we've had previously (and seen in the comics), cements that for me.
It's how I'm justifying not actually collecting the line, because I don't have the money or space to start ANOTHER toy collection -- same rationale as I applied to Sigma 6 (both sizes). It's going to annoy me if they make characters who've never been done in 3.75" (like Billy). Maybe I'll cave then. And I can see myself being OK with BATs...

I don't like these as much as the older Joes, but since I don't have many figures, I bought some 25th aniversary ones. I promise I will post some pics soon!

Yeah, they're kinda like mini-Marvel Legends I think. I don't know where the whole Microman analogy came from, but that's highly unrealistic.
