close up shot
i see all these close up shots of figure like outriders and a bunch of others but when i try to take a photo that close it's fuzzy does that have to do with my camara?? i got a "Digimax S500/S600" just wondering if that kind of camara is right for taking close up shots

My camera has a macro feature try using that if you have it, and don't use the flash. The auto focus helps too, it's more of trail and error thing.

Macro mode is certainly the first thing to look for... failing that, get a couple feet away from your figure, zoom in as much as possible, and stabilize your camera completely (use a chair/table/tripod/whatever's around to make sure it's as still as possible).

As everyone else has mentioned, it all comes down to macro mode, no flash, and a steady camera. Just experiment and see what you get. Sometimes it takes a few shots to get one that is perfectly focused.
