Dio story urge
So I'm currently working on a Joe dio story and my son's dio story. However for some strange reason I have an urge to do a Star Wars dio story why I don't know. (The only Star Wars figure I have is Darth Vader and I only bought that so I could reference it for last years Halloween costume.)
At one time I did have a ton of Star Wars figures, but thanks to a "darling" ex-wife not anymore.
So my question is does anyone else get an urge like this ? Of course I already know this would lead to another collections (I'm so glad my current wife supports my hobby)

I always want to make G.I.Joe dio-stories...
But I lack two very important tools:
1) sets
2) photoshop

I think sets can be anywhere you want. Look at some of these stories and you'll see sets aren't a big issue. All pretty simply outside shots.
Thor vs Hulk
Under Fire
Thu Hunt
GI Joe
As for photoshop...like Ender stated in his how to post photoshop if you have to. I'm not sure (I haven't tried it), but I think you can use the paint program that's already on you computer for fire fight effects and such. I might have a older version of photoshop somewhere. Can't remember what I did with it. Anyway good luck hope to see a dio story from you soon.

I get this..
I really do get this.. I think I'm suffering from a dio story idea overload right now.. my creative juices are flowing.. whenever its like this its best to either act on it and create to ease the flow.. or jot the idea down and come back to it later.
I have on my desk a gi joe folder inside is another section marked ideas.. whenever I get ideas I always put them in their.. I've always been very creative.. and I was once told by a work colleague to save and not waste.. so I've been saving them for quite a while
I hope you do get to create something. At first to try your hand don't worry so much about props.. and sets.. focus primarily on who your characters are and what they are doing. I think its all very well having the resources to do fantastic sets but you still need the story to back it up.
Good luck in your creating and I hope you satisfy your urge.. and do the decent thing in giving it a go!

Maybe, but considering the story I want to tell takes place in an URBAN location, sets and Photoshop become a pretty big deal.

I always have stories and ideas but most of 'em never come to light. Be it they SUCK or I just don't feel like developing them. I'm working primarily on Ep6 of the S6 dio and am slowly putting things together for the 3.75" adventure. The amount of rain we've been getting and the lack of time (when it's not raining), I just can't do the 3.75". I WANT to, it's just not quite ready. I suppose I COULD throw down a teaser. Nah.

I Always get crazy urges to do a Dio Story, but usually it's when I'm in bed trying to sleep or in a class, letting my mind wander. When I have the time for Dios, I find myself parked behind my best friend (My Dell Inspiron Computer) . My problem isn't getting the urge, it's getting off my @$$ and doig it!

I am very strange, in many talks with G. we discussed some of my things of doing mini-dios. Like the one posted right know with Scarlett and Zartan. Right now I'm running a Star Wars dio (but a very poor dio), that is posted here: http://www.jedi-masters.co.uk/jedib...opic.php?t=1093 And I'm running my MISSION dio that started wrong posted at the photo section . But between this 2 diostories I was hitted by the Scarlett and Zartan dio. This is very strange to me. I'll try keep with the Renegades dio, but probably I'll not left my mini diostories behind.
