Who Inspires You?
Simple question, I know most of us are inspired by other users on the forum, but who is your biggest Photography ispiration?
Truthfully, there are tons of you who I am fascinated by and look forward to their shots daily but one man who stands out the most is Vader (Dave).
His sets are beautiful and his shots incredble.
Well done Dave, hell everyone!

You all are my inspiration to operate this site. I see so much growth in skill and creativity here, it makes it all worth it.
Originally, it was General's Joes that got me jazzed about Dios, but then it was all the pruned threads on JoeCustoms that resulted in HUNDREDS of lost dio stories that inspired me to make a site to archive them for as long as I could.

The first Joe Fotography I saw was from Luke Ellison. Most of it was the fact that he did a great job of photographing GI Joe figures. Sure, Justin and Fred were doing it to an extent, but Luke was the bomb, imo.
THEN along came an Outrider and WOW.
Then there was Speir and DaveCW.
For me now, it's really the guys who can do everything. Diostories, tight photography, creative ideas, wonderful poses, sets, outdoors, etc. Vader and Death have done a lot of good stuff and there are a TON of guys who, like me, their consistency isn't always there.
I REALLY enjoy Falcon Chile's work. It's too bad that most of the people I've mentioned aren't around anymore.

*cries*
Actually for the most part that list minus me is mine and many more not listed because once you start listing people you inevitably will leave some one off, and I don't want to do that and hurt anyone's feelings. You all frakin' are!
My trick is I only use the one out of the 8 that come in focused. Why 8? Well I can only take pics when I'm grilling or not watching the baby outside. So that's all I have time for.

Storytelling-wise, earliest inspiration for me was looking at film direction and different types of shots, and how they were used. For dio photography, it was when I saw Violentfix's work on his site that got me into thinking about action figure photography and dios. When I found the Joe Dios site, looking at a lot of the work here convinced me to start my own stuff and experiment! It's great here.

Like hammerfell said, I've been inspired by all of you Thanks to all I've learned a lot of tricks and now I can make something interesting. I started making shots or Dio Stories 3 month ago(unfortunatelly I still don't have time to translate them in english).
