As a couple of you know, I've been developing a comic for a buddy who wants to start his own studio (or get brought into the big times w/ a studio). Samurai Wars/Samurai 6 is still a working title until I find something I can deal with. I've started prelim work a year ago or more but haven't really started working on it until the last couple of months. I've been sketching for about 45 mins a day (during my lunch break at work). My drawing is really poor and I'm trying to get back into shape.

Because I don't have any pages started (just received the 'official' comic paper the other day), I started a pin-up for my man Chuck. Once it's done, I'll scan most of the image, send the original off to him and he'll do with it as he sees fit. The art style has stayed fairly consistent but I'm playing with color style. ie; grayscale w/ touches of color here and there.

Meet Akira Sugiyama (standing). I won't give ya guys the 411 on him yet, tho I've written up a file for him.
