Anyone want to give a tutorial?

I signed up but am so dense, I don't quite get how to make things work. I have an index page with JUST my Sonneilon Studios logo and that's it. Trying to figure out how to create links from text so when I put a few dios on there, well, I'll have live links.

HELP?
