Default My Brothers Keeper Over?

Just saw this on Violentfix's site http://www.violentfix.com/cobra/whatsnew.htm
It sucks but I get it, Eric I wish you the best and still would like to know how the story ends. Your dios were great and I have re-read them at least five times, and will no doubt read them again, they will be missed.

When I first got back into Joes, the Inner Sanctum was one of the first sites I went to. I always enjoyed the dios, but I understand that "life" does have to take over eventually. He should spend more time with his family, especially if his kids are little. He can always start up again when they're unruly teenagers.

this has been up about a month, thats why he probably hasnt gotten back to you. im with you guys in thinking its a bad thing for dio stories. general joe was my first and foremost inspiration in dio stories, then tim's corner and violnetfix. tim has been gone awhile now, and violnetfix had been posting less and less before this. now he has completely stopped. this is why i say we need more and more dio artist. it's doubtful anyone will ever take their place, but you never know.

That's really too bad. He had a great sense of lighting, his pictures had great focus, and he made great use of the uniformity of troop builders. I fondly remember an Iron Grenadier army invading a Cobra hangar somewhere in The Rapier Machine, and i thoroughly love his use of the Night Watch in My Brother's Keeper.

Oh man, that Cobra hangar. Possibly the greatest set ever built for a diostory, imho.

As the father of two and soon to be three, all of whom are under the age of 10, I truely feel Violentfix's pain. It is very difficult to be an engaged father, husband and full time job holder. This juggling act is very dominating and when you add to it the demands we put on ourselves to produce quality pics and stories - well a hobby can quickly turn into a task we no longer want to do.

I'm sorry to see these stories end so abruptly, but I fully understand.

It's too bad he can't find the time, I feel his pain though, I haven't been able to find much time myself lately, even to just drop in an comment on the great pics that continue to be pumped out.

I'm new to the Dio scene, for Joes anyway, and it was Violentfix who got me started thinking about GI Joe, about three months ago when I stumbled upon his site after Googling something. Every so often I would think about something concerning my old Joe collection, of which now I only have a fraction left.. 50 figures, 1 MOBAT, 1 HISS, and two other vehicles. So I was floored when I saw his collection, and impressed with how recent they were. A month later I found this site, and with all the photos here, sparked my imagination and interest in the Joeverse.

Violentfix stories will be missed. I was looking forward to the next segment of the story, and found the previous stories to be very enjoyable and well thought out. I hope he will resume before too long.
