michael turner dead
i dont know if any of you know about this or who he is, but my friend just told me. although i just found out tonight, michale turner died on june 27. now that jim lee and marc silvestri draw comics few and far between, michale turner and j. scott campbell were the only 2 high points in modern comics. although i dont read or buy comics as much as i use to, his were something i really looked forward to. if you dont know who he is, check out some of his work.

I'm a big comic fan, and Turner died June 27, 2008 at the Santa Monica Hospital in California, of complications from bone cancer.he was 37. ,, Michale turner and j. Scott Campbell were not the only 2 high points in comics, sorry man. , he did a lot of great work,

I won't go as far to say Michale Turner was one of only two great artist in modern comics, but I will agree he was definitely in my top 5. When I read of his passing I was deeply upset also, especially since I had just picked up the #0 issue of Fathom two days prior just because his name was on it. He was the featured artist for about the first 8 issues of Supergirl's latest volume, and he really had a way of drawing the most beautiful women in comics. The comics industry has lost a true asset.
