LED lights at Big Lots
I found some Halloween lights at Big Lots. The best part is that they come in a fixture that looks like a overhead light in a factory or something. The only bad thing is that the power box also makes creepy sounds. So, I get to hear scary noises while I take photos. There is a string of 20 lights, and 2 boxes that could work as a light rig also. You can see them in my latest set of shots, the blue light in the comms room comes from these. On a side note, they did not have a single piece of PTE or anything remotely military. (Sorry Ender)

Any chance someone could crack open the power supply and rip out the sound effects card?

heres some pics of the light kit...there is a name "gemmy industries" and www.gemmy.com. the box is bright orange in the halloween section, you shouldn't be able to miss it...the set I got cost 20 dollars, but the individual boxes, like the ones pictured, cost 6 dollars apiece. The set had the 20 individual lights and 2 light boxes. They are strobe lights for halloween set ups, but you can adjust the strobe and I havent had a prob with taking a picture while the lights are on. Hope this helps.
