Size of pics
Hey all I just tried 2 upload my pics of my star wars guys and well they are to big and i was wondering if I could fix that or will I have to take all those pics again?

you can get on microsoft paint (default program) and crop them, thats what I do.

600x800 is the norm, dawg.
Nobody wants to scroll around for the whole picture especially when the JD won't resize it to fit your screen.
Unless you're really lazy, leave it at the whopping 1800xWhatever size it comes as. That just takes more space on the site (not a good thing).

I'm using Irfanview, go to rezise/resample and short it to 800 x 600.

i got the irfan and it seems like it resized the pic ok, but then it wouldn't upload. SOmething about an invalid extension. Where should i save the picture to after resizing it in irfan? i put the pic in a pre existing folder and it would upload from there. I am practically computer illiterate, so keep it simple if you can.

do you see the extension of your files? i.e.: pic.jpg, budget.xls, letter.doc.

not sure but I will check tonite after work.I made some pictures for a How to and they are way too big to post as attachments in the forum
