matt trakker, good idea or bad
hisstank had a poll about this. more voted it a good idea rather then bad. but most people on hisstank are like me in that they like, or at least accept the cartoon. on here it seems a lot do not like the toon so im guessing the vote on here would be that he is a bad idea. cast you vote and state your opinion.

i guess you can tell i went with yes. i have always wanted some M.A.S.K. figures that were the same size as joes. i also think they go pretty well with G.I. Joe. i would like most of them made, but they said this is a tribute (a way to use aces mold and make money because people are starting to get angry at to many snake eyes), so they wont be taking any spaces of new joe figures. i mean come on, if we didnt get a trakker figure from a reused mold, we sure as smurf would have gotten another snake eyes. which one would you want?

Personally, I loved M.A.S.K. Had the toys & watched the toon!!! I think it's cool so I'll buy him. Maybe they'r testing the waters to see if M.A.S.K would float in today's waters.

I don't know if I would get a Trakker figure if they made him, but I think it would be kind of cool to see him released. Then again, I'd like Sgt Savage and Extreme figures too. Joe and MASK were pretty similar thematically, and I liked both cartoons when I was a kid, and MASK did have some really cool vehicles.

I really don't have an opinion. I had some MASK as a kid, and I did think Matt Trakker was cool back then because he had the same first name as me. Overall though, I wouldn't be crushed if they hadn't made him, but since they are making him, I'll get him.

See my latest posting after reading on TNI and here about Matt Trakker coming over to the Joe side.

I like the idea of doing a tribute to another toyline that Hasbro has the rights to like this, as I thought it was cool of them to do Action Man (regardless of whether he was suitable for the Night Force set or not, just the fact they did him in 3.75" was fun in my book).
I don't really think being a fan of the GI Joe cartoon has got anything to do with opinions over a Matt Trakker figure, it's not like he was on the show, and it's not like the comics didn't have far-fetched/sci-fi stuff (brainwave scanner, Serpentor, super-ninja, Transformers...). I see this as a shout out to a toyline that many of the people drawn to the current nostalgia-fuelled 25th line will also have a sense of nostalgia towards.

All I have to say is if they start re-releasing MASK toys if/when this one sells well.....I'm going to have to either win the lottery, get a second job, or just be one broke dude.
