Nice playing. Question though, are you using a thin pick cause you can hear it over the playing. That has alway drove me nuts when I am playing guitar. I had to go to playing with my fingers because the pick is just to loud. Now I only play with a pick when I am jamming withe the band. Keep it up.

I use a .63mm pick. WHen I played bass, I used a 1mm. I tend to play really hard so you can hear me thrash on the strings, kinda like how you can hear Steve Harris hear his fingers mashing the strings (Iron Maiden). Jason Newsted was the same way. They had to put 8 inches of foam between him and the mike cuz they could hear the pick.

IF I turned up the amp more, you might not hear me hitting the strings. But being in an apt, I can only turn it up so loud, y'know?

I've also tried different strings. I used some heavy end Ernie Ball strings but the low E was so heavy, it threw all my settings off. Plus, where the amp is positioned and the camera, it probably picks up the hitting of the pick pretty easily. I can't move the camera cuz the amp is on the floor and the camera was on the tv which is the only position where you could actually see me play.
