Who's up for a new JoeDios theme day?! I figured we have the "Target Range" which showcases specific figures on Tuesdays and Thursdays and "Weekend Warriors" which is a different theme each weekend. But what about starting a running theme every week. Wednesday is the halfway point through the week and sometimes you just need a little bit of the funny to get you through the rest of the week. So here's what I'm proposing.

"WHACKY WEDNESDAYS!!!" Post your most insane, outrageous and utterly preposterous photos. Diostory posters can post a "blooper" shot from a diostory. Got a figure on your desk at work and your coworkers "do things" to it? Snap a pic and post it (but keep it clean) Like to take your figures out on the town with you? Shoot a pic with the hostess at Denny's or climbing out of a dumpster. Whatever makes you laugh is fair game (but keep it clean) just remember its all about the funny. No serious pics allowed for "WHACKY WEDNESDAYS!!!" Now that doesn't mean you can't post serious pics on Wednesday, just not under the "WHACKY WEDNESDAYS!!!" banner. Cool?

So whaddaya think?

I like the idea -- anything that gets people thinking and creating, and coming back on a regular basis is good. I'd just say to be careful with stuff like the figures on work desks and waitresses holding them, as that's going outside the "dios" classification a bit...

Good point. I was just trying to think of funny stuff and that's all that came to mind. See? We NEED this here folks! We need creative funny dio shots so I don't run around town with my figures asking strangers to lick them and stuff.

Not that strangers lick my figures... no one has said yes yet.

Post your odd, funny, goofy, geeked fotos of your Joes (and cobras, and drug guys that belong to Headman, and MARS, and Dreadnoks, and Skull Squad, and...)!!!

...or as I refer to them: "Every day."


I like to mix up funny stuff and serious stuff... depending on the mood...but recently, I've been going with the silly to see if I can get a laugh out of folks...
