I'm a firm believer in "Don't believe everything you read". Someone asked me lately about something another member IM'd me about and after I forwarded him the reply, he came back with "Are you serious". I said, "yup...that's what he said.....why would I alter it....besides, I don't think you can...can you?"

It got me thinking.....and I decided to try it! Know what I got? Check out what I can make it look like someone IM'd me;






Anyone who knows Shane would KNOW that was a fabrication.......Shane would NEVER be gay......as for the cross dressing......I think that depends on how drunk he is and if Jen leaves her lingerie out! LOL! Sorry! Just kidding Shane!

The point is....if I can do that and tell you he IM'd that to me, what other deviltry can you do and blame on another person?

General Scarlett, is there a way to prove if another person is lying when they say "So-and-so said this in an IM?" Do the admins have access to a person's IM so they can prove if another member is harassing you or threatening you? I know in the past members have been warned for that sort of behavior, but was it the word of the complaining party...or were you able to access their mailbox and prove that what they forwarded to you was legit?

If the only evidence is what the person in question sends you.....that's a problem!

I hope never see the terrible image of Shane cross dressing! LOL. (Sorry for the joke here friends, but I couldn't let this one pass by me ).

IF I EVER FIND OUT that any member(s) are in any way shape or form slandering any other member(s) through bigotry, anti-semetic, or racist fashion, THEY WILL BE BANNED IMMEDIATELY AND I WILL PROVIDE THEIR IP ADDRESS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION TO THE AUTHORITIES!!

That being said, if anyone recieves emails that do not seem 'kosher', you need to PM me immediately and make me aware of the situation. DO NOT take it upon yourself to 'mount the charge'. I will pursue the party involved, and if I am not completely satisfied with their answers or feel in any way that they are lying to me, the above promise will once again be followed!!!


I don't play that kind of crap.........and I'm just kind enough to not want to see the bad in others, and to change my mind take A LOT to do...........but make no mistake, DO NOT MISTAKE MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS!!!

Consider this a once and final warning............

Well, that goes without saying. It's stated in the rules on the main page. My question is, how do you know if a member says "Look what Ender098 sent me in an IM" and posts an edited IM in the forum, is there anyway to prove that is NOT what you said?

Well, if your the one who sent it to the other party, then you SHOULD have what you originally wrote in your 'sent' box..........
