Smurf Offline --> Posts: 3,446 --> Join Date: Jan 2006	i wondered what happened to it. why was it taken off??? i mean we show people getting shot through the neck with blood gushing out, knowing they have a lil 7yo child at home and none ot that bothers us. so what if its a kids place and everyone loves it, i like disney as much as anyone, but its all fun. if we cant show the bad guys blowing up stuff that many of us love then we shouldnt show the good guys doing anything, because it might offend many of us who take our joe world serious and seeing our beloved bad guys getting killed means as much to us as disney to others. this is very, very disturbing to me if it was taken off for some stupid reason like that. heck, robot chicken brought walt disney back from the dead to make fun of him, did people get offended? must not have because it got nominated and its getting bigger and bigger all the time. look at what all family guy has made fun of and look how huge it is. have we become the type of people on here who cant let other people create their own work because it offends us? if so we should have no blood in any pics, the sight of blood has always made me ill. oh yeah, snake eyes too, no more pics of him because it really really offends me seeing him beating all my fave bad guys.

Smurf Offline --> Posts: 3,446 --> Join Date: Jan 2006	i can understand the porn thing, i made that mistake once because i didnt know it was in my pic. but because you yourself do not like the pic because its an american icon isnt right. didnt you yourself say that a mod should be unbiased and natural? its almost like infringing on his right of free speech and self expression and is in some ways related to freedom of press.

Smurf Offline --> Posts: 3,446 --> Join Date: Jan 2006	many people on here dont ive in the us and many others havent been to disney. i thin if nothing else this should have been to a vote and see just who really was offended by it. makes me wonder if hammerfel would have deleted it, it was he who created this site and his money, so i could understand if he wanted to. yes it does raven, and no schools, no place where a family lives in. no buses, nothing but bad guy stuff and stuff that is out of the us is ok.

It's down, he understands and apologized to those offended. Case closed. Big guts for the apology too. Accepted on my part, even though not offended.

Sorry,but Disney,Barbie,and other kid's things are over the line for a public Joe Site.........yes,Joe is a "kid's toy"-but it's a MILITARY toy...........sometimes we have to censer ourselves-a war toy shooting another war toy is fine under it's own fantasy realm.............but as Joe fans we should stay away from including Iconic younger kids lines in MILITARY situations.........now humorous situations would be different..... WHY should we avoid them?Well-it's kinda like kicking a kitten,don't you think? Stomping on a gentle toys fantasy is wrong-it's beneath the dignity of GI Joe...........and it's rather sick............blowing up the Magic Kingdom would leave a lot of small broken bodies under a plume of smoke..............and I have had FAR too many views of broken bodies and plumes of smoke-from 9/11 and onto Iraq-I don't come on JoeDios to be reminded of that! Mass targeting of civillians is also beneath Cobra's dignity-they never did that in the Marvel Comic. Stupid to remove it??? No! General Scarlett had a DUTY to remove it-and I know Prince Adam apologized-like a man. We don't need or WANT this garbage on JD.........don't we get too much blood and fire on TV? Free speech??
