I start with the base of each characters personalities, then thrust them into a situation and see how they would react to it. I don't initially structure their entire character in my head, but rather let what they do define them. I base what they do next on what happened before. There's no writing and the story unfolds as I take the photos.

Of course, there're plots and such that I'd like to add to the story, so I just file that away in my mind until I can get to it without forcing it in.

Also I may have ADD. I have a hard time focusing on one thing at a time, at the very least, so at there may be more than one thing going on at a time ..

I just think of it as playing with my toys. That's how I used to do it when I was a kid anyway. The only difference is the use of a camera and actually building it, so I can share it with others.
