Check your local thrift stores, like the Salvation Army or Goodwill. I have hit dio gold there on numerous occasions. Another good place is Micheals, they have wooden desks and cabinets. Playsets for girls are great places for furniture alse, but they tend to be pink and blue and yellow. Some paint and they look great.
