Funny, the previous press release was that Hasbro's earning were up, with GI JOE part of the reason.
Now? Prices drops on ROC figures by two major retailers (a seasonal move or something else?), vehicle wave cancelled, a foreign market's fate uncertain.
Of course, $16 for those little vehicles stinks (with maybe the exception of the Firebat redeco). GI JOE isn't Star Wars, which is overpriced. It's not even Transformers. Hasbro tried to use the movie to milk their own property for more money.
Releasing the polar shark in the first wave, which was in the movie, might've been smarter than say, stuff that was not in the movie.
