Well, it's kind of hard to narrow it down to just five, but I'll try.

1) Aliens
2) The Terminator
3) The Lord of the Rings
4) Spider-Man 2 (best superhero movie ever, imo)
5) John Capenter's The Thing

Those 1st 2 were my favorite movies when I was in high school, and I've watched them countless times on DVD. Also a big reason why I'm a big James Cameron fan.
