Not necessarily. If you use the blacklight as the primary, everything looks purple. But that's the trick, using a dim alternate light source and just allowing the blacklight to pickup the fluorescent parts. Won't be as vivid as the film, but I'd wager they did some post-processing to work the color out anyway.
