This isn't PC facism, this is going "well do we want our film and toyline to be scrutinized by civil rights groups, and be embraced by hate groups?" Anyone with a brain would say "No"
G.I. Joe isn't art, it's a way for Hasbro to make money. If that means making Cobra Commander look ridiculous, it won't make them lose any sleep.

Good point. However, isn't that taking it a little too far in the scrutiny department? I mean it's like in the '80's when my friends and I were into heavy metal. None of us would have ever thought about playing records backwards to look for satanic messages, until a group of religious zealots did it on a talk show. Then we ALL went out and bought copies of "Stairway to Heaven" just to see if it was real. None of us were Satanists...or even closet satanists, and even if we were, heavy metal didn't do it to us! Honestly, I don't think 99% of the people out here wouldn't have thought about that if they had not said something! It's pretty pathetic that people go out of their way to look for links to racism, facism and nazism in minor details like that!
The two movies I mentioned Blatently drew attention to the "nazi" link by their shows of ceremony with banners of red and black and black high collared uniforms with the knee high riding type boots.
Know my fear? The pacifists trying to get the movie banned because it glorifies war.....just wait...it's coming!!!
