Read the Florida Today article and was not impressed by the information. I have however just got a clarification from a third party that the new law does not apply to any toy that we would normally buy or sell - it applys to infant toys, stuffed animals or items manufactured by low budget manufacturers. Consignment stores, thrift stores and online retailers are only required to NOT sell items that they know or strongly suspect contain high levels of lead or chemicals used in their manufacture. Hasbro, Chap Mei and the other producers of action figures are budgeted well enough that they will not possess these issues. Thanks Vader9900, I appreciate your information.
