My memories are related to the G.I. Joe comercials. The '82 series that was released here in '84 or something like that, had a big mountain as base on the comercial. I can remember the fight. I was just sad that about that time I couldn't get any Joes due to their price and low profit my parents were making that time.
However, there aren't only sad memories. I used to have the Armymen and so do my friends. We seatled BIG battles, involving BIG armies, since the green plastic armymen were cheaper. My armymen became my Joes at the time.
By the end of the '80s I got my first Joe, if I remember it was Fast Draw. In the '90s came Voltar, Rampart (My all time general) and Alpinista new. I was also able to buy some 2nd handed Joes/cobras/vehicles from a guy on Highschool. But never let him know they were for me

. Other of my childhoods friends got Joes from him. So I was 14/15 and playing Joes with my 14/15/16 friends hiding on the woods

. So the '90s were the decade for me.
Not to mention the Use Your Illusion from GN'R in '91 to add to my Apetite for Destruction LP. Oh yeah, I'm a gunner

. Hard Rock baby!
On moves Predator and all the Vietnam era movies got our attention.
