I mean, it drives me bonkers sometimes. I tried writing my own, made it a few chapters and then lost energy. I would rather play and pose my Joes and make stories (you gotta figuer, when we played with them as kids, we had stories in our heads, even if they were incredibly lame and/or simplistic).

I guess I'm more interested in people's universes and how they do stuff than seeing the written word in black and white.

That's where I am. I can't write fanfic because all I ever read is either sooooo technical that I feel that I'm being lectured by a DI or it ends up turning into flash that has Destro shacking up with CC . I'm not into being a lecturer (If you learn something from me, go read more!) and flash just ain't my style (Can I say YUCK enough?). I have a larger universe in which Cobra is only one problem that the world faces. That being said, the GI Joe team isn't (gasp) the center of the stories (GI Joe Colton is a big part of it, though). I'm in the middle of reshooting some scenes to my first real dio (because the originals just lost their focus - storywise). Hopefully I can soon join the rest of you guys who put out the dio focus of this site.
