mmm, its a toy, cartoon and comic, so i never expected it to have any realism. and i dont think it does. i mean a guy in a blue mask with an army in blue uniforms, where is the camo there. a ninja who can dodge bullets and kill a building full of soldiers, heck, a guy carrying a sword in battle isnt realistic. i dont think it was ever very realistic, if it was, it would have been boring. this doesnt mean we should love it any less.
