I admire that Salma has done quite a bit for not only herself but other people, I guess. Sure, we hear about movie stars who create charities, give to charities and whatnot... But it almost feels like in this Britney/Paris era, it's all about being self-centered. I like that, as a minority (technically speaking), that she is trying to be more than just a pretty face or an actor.

I dunno... It's kinda like the tv show, K*ville. They are shooting down there in New Orleans and they've actually been putting MILLIONS back into the communities down there. They use the local labor and whatnot. While the show isn't anything to most people, I rather enjoy it.
