When I was about five or six, my mother was burning rubbish in the back yard, when the phone rang. As she went to answer the phone, she said to me "Don't go near the fire". So, of course, that's exactly what I did. I had a plastic toy which I stuck on the end of a stick and shoved into the fire. When I pulled it out, the molten burning plastic fell off the stick onto my leg, literally scarring me for life!
