Real-Life "Dragonfly"
 

We were driving home from my Sister-In-Law's this Friday after our "Thanksgiving" there, and at their local American Legion (like a Vet's Club I guess) they had this huge "Dragonfly" type chopper (Apache? - I'm not an expert on aircraft) on a post out in front of their building. I thought it looked WICKED, so I took this picture of it: (I appologize if the picture is hard to see - I took it at the stop light out of the car's window real quickly while I was in the driver's seat)

That would be the AH1 Cobra, which is what the Dragonfly was based on, that's a really good pic, and somebody needs to throw some GI Joe decals on that pedestal bird. ;)

Now that would be hilarious!

One of the coolest displays for a Veterans location.

I drive alot for work and I love driving by and seeing the Armor on display. I would probably crash if I saw that.

I really dig seeing this type of stuff.

I stopped at that exit!

But it was at night, only for reasons that my kids had to use the restroom. We all agreed we need to stop there in the daylight.

I believe there is a Cobra up on display near my in-law's. I'll try and get a picture next time I visit. I'll post pics here if I can get decent ones.
