Droid Does and Skype
 

Greetings humans!

I'm seriously thinking of getting a Droid phone, the new one that's coming out this month.. Droid X. Does anyone here have a Droid phone? Of interest I really want to ask about Skype, and how Skype performs when overseas. I travel to Asia all the time, and would be curious to know if anyone here has had experience using Skype in places like Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, etc.

I use Skype when I want to talk to ppl that are long distance and would cost an arm and a leg on a normal phone. Some Chinese ebay sellers use it as well so it could be good to go over there as well. Mine comes in clear as a bell.

Skype on my laptop has worked great from Perth, Shanghai and Seoul, but I haven't tried it on a Droid yet, sorry!

We use Skype on the computer to call my in-laws in Beijing all the time. No problems.
