The Outrider Challenge!!!
 

Alright sports fans... Lord Raven and I have been discussing a new project that will run con-currently with Weekend Warriors. Anyone can join in!

The Outrider Challenge. This project is about working with what you have. For some, it'll be an exercise to see what you can do with the given subject. For others, it'll be very easy to come up with ideas to execute. It won't be THAT easy in that you'll want to post the very best shots that you can come with (imagine having 10 great shots, but due to the cap, you can ONLY post your best 3! Well, post 3 if you have 'em, then wait for someone else to post then post your other 3, you get the idea).

Don't think for a second this Challenge series will be EASY. Anyone can take a picture of a character. Anyone can do studio portraits. But can 'you' push past what you are comfortable with? Feel free to treat this as a competition with each other. Who can really push themselves to do stuff they've never done or even thought about? And if ALL your shots fail, still post 3 that you think are your masterpieces for feedback. Consider it healthy competition. Consider it an exercise in patience and getting your photography skills leveled up.

In the end, have fun. The prize is pushing yourself and doing the best you possibly can.

So here's the deal. We post weekends alongside Weekend Warriors. It's VERY helpful to indicate that this is part of the Outrider Challenge (or OC or whatever you feel that it should be shortened too). Like Weekend Warriors, you'll have time to work on your masterpieces.

The subject matter is aimed MORE towards the characters themselves. Do what you can with them in your own creative manner. The subject matter is left pretty vague so you can do what you want with the subject AND be creative and do your best.

So is this like another type of dio game were you post the character or subject matter and we all go from there?

The idea here is to up our game. Not just a random shot on your kitchen floor, but the best bloody shot you've ever done. You get a whole week to work on it. We want the top quality you're capable of.

cool! Well I don't know about anyone else but I always try to bring my A game. its just not always there!Lol

The thing is most ppl A game is there more often than mine.

I try for my A game but I don't feel I got it 90% of the time. Don't worry Phil. We'll see what comes. I may be late on mine, but I'll prolly offer something.

OK, I'm a little late to this party (but then again what else is new) I'm not quite sure I understand what were doing???? (I guess i'm a little slow) I always try to bring my A game but it's up to you guys to let me know if i'm delusional or not!

YEAH YOU ARE :p THE WHOLE POINT IS TO PUSH YOURSELF. LETS SAY LIKE THE MAN OUTRIDER. HE'S DONE SO MANY GREAT PHOTOS HE HAS TO PUSH AND TRY HARDER TO TOP HIS STUFF MORE THEN ANY OF US. IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING BRING YOUR A GAME. BUT DO SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR COMFRONT LEVEL. YOU'VE DONE SO MANY GREAT SHOT WITH EFFCTS TRY DOING A NATURAL SETTING OR SOME THINK TANK LIGHTING OR A VADER STYLE SET. SOMETHING NOT IN YOUR REALM OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND HIT IT OUT THE PARK. AT LEAST THATS WHAT I THINK IT MEANS LOL :D
