Flint: Left-handed?
As a lefty myself, I found it interesting when I got that Greatest Battles DVD back to see that the Flint arms Duke uses have the hands set up to hold a weapon left-handed.
This is now the second time (the first being the old JvC figure) that Flint has been sculpted with hands intended to hold weapons as a southpaw. Has Hasbro decided to give us our first "official" Joe lefty? I think that'd be pretty awesome, especially if it's a great character like Flint! Thoughts? |
im bi-dexterous myself, but am considered a lefty because most people dont know the term bi-dexterous. this being the case i have thought often about a lefty joe or cobra. when setting them up for a pic in my dio's, i often find myself putting the gun in their left hand, then changing it because i think of them as right handed. i would love for flint t be left handed, or better yet, beach head.

For some reason, I've always made Flint left handed, going back to the ARAH days. I"m not really even sure why... I, myself am right-handed.

He's holding his shotgun in his left hand on his card art. Flint's card art is some of the most iconic joe art (after like 1982 Grunt since that was everywhere) |

Actually, the term I think you are looking for is AmbiDexterous. I could be wrong, though! So much has changed since I was a kid. Used to be Stewardess, now it's "Flight Attendant". Maybe they have changed the terminology. But when I was a kid, one of my friends could write with both hands and they said he was "Ambidexterous". |
I seem to remember reading somewhere that Flint is lefthanded. I allways though he was.

the 25th Shipwreck has a closed right hand so his gun fits in his left.
