getpaint.net?
I've been trolling the site for a couple weeks. Kind of burned out and can't think of anything to comment on besides "cool" or "awesome". There have been a ton of great pics lately, some of the best I've ever seen, so kudos to y'all.
Now, the reason for the post. I've got some ideas cooking up now, but I need some photoediting software. Rambo sent me some links for photoshop awhile back, but they didn't load correctly(Thanks anyway, man). I'm too cheap to go buy it as it'll just be used for this. So, I found getpaint.net, which is free. Does anyone else here use it, and how good/bad is it? I really want to do some aerial shots. Thanks, Scott |
For freebies I use The Gimp.
For Windows: http://www.gimp.org/windows/ For Unix/Linux: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ --Death |
The only photo editing software I use is Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home Edition. I started with version 2.0, which came bundled free with my scanner when I bought it, and then I upgraded to version 4.0 via eBay for less than $10. It's not anything like the full version of Photoshop, but works really well and does everything I need for the shots I post here. :)

Free Photoshop.
I always offer free alternatives to my Joepals...
Try this. A portable version of Photoshop CS3. http://rapidshare.com/files/1483240...by_karalexs.rar Please let me know if it works and if it is the English version. |
Thanks, guys. Rambo, it worked and was in english. You're the best!

I use an old copy of Fireworks, my favorite image editing software. Plus Flash for the motion graphics.
