Hangars ?
 

Now recently I've looked at alot of cool Dios and photos of alot of guys here .... but one little thing sorta bothers me .... the word "Hangar" .... alot of people here have been makeing dios and calling them Hangars , but don't Hangars usually only hold Aircraft and Space vehicles ? ... where when alot of guys are calling places for their Tanks, and weapons, and other non-air equipment , Hangars ....

you know what i mean ?

I'm not telling anyone to call them something else ...I mean call them whatever you want .... but when I look at it Hangars are only for aircraft.

I mena there other things to call them , like Warehouses, Depot, depository, Stockrooms .... you know what i mean ?

I suppose that's the difference between WAREHOUSE and HANGER! Seriously tho... the answer is NO. Cuz hangers are... uh... I just know that when I lived in Seattle across the Sandpoint Naval Base, one of the hangers was turned into a sports center, 1 turned into a skatepark, and 1 turned into a film studio (ie; Cliffhanger anyone?)

I think of a giant airplane hanger as being a pretty versatile structure. Especially when commandeered by a terrorist unit using the space as they see fit.

You may be technically correct, but does it really matter? To me a hangar is just a large building used for storing vehicles, whether they be aircraft, tanks or otherwise.

It doesn't really matter , but I just like Acurracy and Detail when it come to military related things ... you know what I mean ? ... it's like when people call the spinning thing on top of a helicoper a "propeller" when in actuallity it's a wing blade , and the propeller is the spinning piece that's on the tail..... I'm just ranting ..... I guess I've just watched alot on military channel .....

Well, as far as the helicopter thing... its actually a rotor, but one could call it propeller too. All a propeller means is that it propels the object, which it does.

Nah, it's cool man. I can understand the technicalities of things. I bet a hangar is actually USED whereas a warehouse tends to just stock things. Oh I don't know... lol

HANGAR - A covered and usu. enclosed area for housing and repairing aircraft.

WAREHOUSE - A place for the strorage of merchandise or commodities.
