How I did it.
So, there were a few oooohs and aaaahs over my shot with the Trubble Bubble, so here's a few shots to show how I did it.
![]() So here's the general set up. I have this giant piece of black bristol board I use for background. I use set pieces from Heroscape as background dressing. I use stands for the figures who are more difficult to stand up, but I always make sure when I take the picture that the stand is not in frame ![]() And this little number has helped me take alot of nice shots. It's the guts from a Christmas card I got a few years ago that lights up and plays music. I pulled the speaker off it cause every time I take a picture I didn't wanna here electronic Jingle Bells. It's not a complete circuit, there's a small metal pad which needs to be pushed down onto the circuit board to complete the circle. ![]() So here are all the parts together. Slam the lights off, keep it dark. I set my camera up on a timer so I have my free hand to turn the light on and position it just right as the timer goes down. So there ya go team, that's how I set up this shot. |
thanks for the how to
