Thanks for the tour (and the great pics) TG! A lot of those aircraft I have never seen before. The Aussie air force mostly runs US planes, so you see the F18's/F111's/C130's/Blackhawks etc that you see everywhere (not that those aircraft aren't cool!). It was good to see some different stuff for a change. There's a former air force base not too far (30 or 40km) from my home that is now a museum with aircraft (and tanks) all the way back to WWI. The last time I went there was quite a few years ago, but after reading your posts it's made me want to visit again! I might even take some Joes with me, like you did! :D

There is a lot of inspiration! Thanks for lookin'. |
Muy Bueno (that's all the Spanish I remember from Grade 10)
but I agree with you Toneguns there is a lot of inspiration there it makes me wish I knew how to build model airplanes in that scale cause that would be really sweet. My makeshift BlackHawk was so awful I don't even want to get into it. I crafted it from cardboard and the container from a restaurant that I got a doggy bag from. It sounds bad I know. My boss makes model airplanes in larger scales which makes me think that there must be model airplanes in our 3 and 3/4 inch scale. I looked at the pictures wondering when ordance was coming and was very pleased when I came to this last one which showed the ordance that I was waiting for. Great shot of that twenty millimeter cannon that was really sweet. I hope to see more shots. |
Now i can say with out a doubt the USAF could wipe Brazil off the map in a heart beat! (Just kidding) I've got an Air National Guard base near me. it's got A-10s and C-130Js. the only base i've really been on is andrews and it was for an open house. (this was pre 9-11) they still have it, so maybe in may if i beg and plead ic can go and take some pics. (and i'd bring my thunderwing because in some pictures i saw of this year's they show off the F-22!)

There is always a possibility, but don't forgot that you were defeated at Vietnam and are going to the same way in Iraq and Afeghanistan :p . And they 3 togethe,r aren't a 3rd part from Brazil, being so... Maybe you should ask where your soldiers came to learn fight in jungle enviroments ;) And don't forget that we don't teach all our tricks. ;) |
