It's late here. After 2 am, and I'm wide awake.
The windows are wide open due to the heat and humidity.

I hear a noise outside in what would best be described as the courtyard of the apt building. I look out to see two hooded figures messing about with the bike lockup. I watch for a few moments to see if it's actual occupants or more nefarious people.

Suddenly, one of them changes bikes and tries another.

Huh....Bike thieves eh?

I yell out simply

"I'd move on if I were you"

poof....they run off into the night.

I smile.

Another job, well done.

You got balls, man. I don't know if I could do that unless a chick was in danger. Or if her stuff was in danger, y'know? But then, I'm non-confrontational unless it really calls for it. I'd be more liable to call the cops or a neighbor and make them do the footwork.
