Con Set Exclusives
OKAY MASTER COLLECTOR HAS REVEALED THE CONVENTION'S JOES AND I HAVE TO SAY I WANT THEM. THEY ALL LOOK AWESOME THOUGH I THINK THE GREEN IS NOT VERY URBAN. A BLUE WOULD OF BEEN BETTER THE JEEP LOOKS GREAT IMO AND BARACADE'S ROBOT LOOKS KICK A$$. BUT THE COOLEST IS THAT BLANCA HEAD ON A WHOLE NEW CHARACTER "HOT WIRE" WOW!!!
|
How much will cost the SWAT 3-pack? If it isn't that price I'll need a help to buy them.

I'd definitely like Hotwire & his mech, and the main set, but the Joes don't really do much for me. As has been said, the green doesn't really say urban to me (Toneguns did a much better Longarm). Shockwave v1 is fine by me and yet ANOTHER Low-Light doesn't excite me. Bullhorn looks OK but I'd still like him in blues, greys and black. And Longarm's accessories are nice but what's with the lack of gloves?
Definitely still liking those BATs though. |

If Past Cons 3 packs are any indication, from $50-60. Quote:
Yeah, no Frell, what is up with that GREEN? how about Gray, Black or SWAT Blue? The Steel Brigade 3 pack and 2 pack from 2005 Looked more Urban than these guys! I won't say no to them, but I ain't THRILLED about them! |

Well, some SWAT units are wearing green camo, just hit google for it, but I've to agree, blue looks much better. Thanks for the compliments on mine Long Arm Stormer, Hasbro paint is very close to mine :) . Gloves, I had the same thought here. Why in hell would he wear all that armor to defuse a bomb and expose his fingers that much? Maybe to have more sensitiveness when desarming the bomb? Well, Gloves would make more sense in my eyes. Frank, 50 or 60 for 3 figures isn't that bad. I'll wait for them on eBay. |

I know the answer to this one! No matter how strong the gloves, there are NO Blast Proof gloves in the Military arsenal. Given the choice between having gloves that offer little to no protection or having my hands able to feel triggers or traps, I wouldn't wear gloves either. No matter how good the gloves, you're still gonna lose fingers when bomb goes "boom". |
