Only If..
I was thanking about the 25th Joes.
Imagine if they only had made them wityh the O rings. That would be swet. I mean, who wouldn't want originals? |
And tomorrow night: Global Warming -- all those carbon emissions are probably bad for the atmosphere, right? Someone should look into that.
ONLY here, "On The Pulse," with Agent Viper! ;) |
lol man! I really got kick out that. ^^^^ I mean 25ths with o-rings?! who woulda thunk it! ;)
|
It should be..
It really should be titled If Only... Nevermind.
In all seriousness, i think even if O-rings had been fitted into 25th G.I.Joe's some of them still wouldn't look that great if i'm honest. I can't sit and berate the 25th product any longer, until of course I get that Storm Shadow figure reviewed. An attempt, an honest one at best.. to give the 25th G.I.JOE a chance. Now it's more honest than their creators that's for sure. Just a note to the threadstarter here, I think it was considered by alot, and I do mean alot, of 80s G.I.JOE fans that not including the O-ring was a big step backwards (disappointment). Some have got over it and some can't get past it. Is it completely impossible to open up a 25th figure and transform the middle so it accepts O-ring? Is this not a custom feature that some excellent craftsperson could do? |

interesting... I'll get back to you |
It is not only the o-ring...
it's the 4 inches tall.... the baseball toy heads... the poor articulation... the arthritic hands... anyway... |
In all seriousness, the o-ring would have made a HUGE difference to me. I've got tall figures already (admittedly JvC Shipwreck is average height by 25th standards) and different head & elbow construction (DTC new sculpts) but it's the fugly manboob-making mid-torso joint that puts me off the most. I don't care if it's more realistic articulation, it looks stupid to split Flash's armour in two.
OK, back to my newspaper -- I just noticed, that whole war in Iraq thing hasn't really gone as well as they were hoping, don't you think? |
Newspaper..
Your newspaper.. is that geniune news... as in your prawn sandwich lunch the other week? :o Sorry had to ask this.. :D
|
Of course it's news -- I just published it on an internationally-accessible public forum. :P
