A lost Dio...
I mentioned some of the work that was never finished.
The pics below were the start of a Dio that would have probably been my first Special Missions but at the time I was just too deep into Brother's Keeper. The stroyline was a very Special Missions feel with a story driven read depending on writing and photography skills and less on fast paced action. I'm trying to dig up more of these pics but the main folders been misplaced. If or as I find them, I'll put more of them up. ![]() ![]() |
This next group is not scripted, if I can find the scripted versions, I'll get them posted.
This was one of my favorite shots and it took forever. Getting Stalker to balance like that and getting Snakes to support his weight. ![]() The pics are meant to continue with Stalker giving dialog to unfold the story. ![]() ![]() Snakes about to spring on this guy. Still looking for the throat slit pic. ![]() This is a story about an Op gone wrong, I'll leave it at that. ![]() |
Wow, VFX, I'm already drooling over this! The first 2 shots, with the inner monologue were amazing! I love it and you captured Lonzo perfectly! I, too, love that shot where SE is lowering him down the cliff. Do your best Scooby-Doo and find this stuff! Incredible...and there was hardly anything to it...incredible...

Wow, these are just awesome. A few years ago, when I was just getting back into Joes, your site was one of the first I discovered. I was simply amazed at what I saw, and have visited regularly just to see what's new.

Awesome stuff. I really hope you find/finish the rest of it.

the thing i have noticed about all of your shots is the color is always so rich. not only that but the light is always perfect, not to much light reflection or shadow. i have taken both inside and outside pics, but i cant get the right lighting.

incredible, hope you can find the rest of the folders!

It's tricky but the main thing I do is use color light gels. They aren't really that expensive. The biggest expense is the lights themselves. A system like the ones in these shots would cost about $200. I was very lucky because i was part of a band at one point that used these for our shows and I ended up with them by default. But also, the number one thing I do to make the color so rich is that I use the manual settings on my camera, I hardly ever use the presets. It takes time to figure it out and a lot of trail and error but when you get it right, it's well worth the work. ![]() ![]() |
Wow. Just...wow. Awesome work! That Snake Eyes/Stalker cliff shot in particular, is just too good. Spectacular stuff, man!
