Cobra Special Forces

Devil's Due Comics is doing a good storyline on the Cobra Special Forces.

Plague Troopers are individuals from various troops (Sand Vipers, Saw Vipers, Eels, etc) that have set themselves apart from their peers and so a special force The Plague has been created which is made up of these special troopers.

Hold on a second... Interrogator and Blackout ARE part of the Plague? If each Plague member is supposed to be the best of the best of the best, how does Blackout and Interrogator fit in? Interrogator is the best interrogator of the Cobra forces and Blackout is the best GI Joe dropout?

RAH Line should have Cobra Special Forces

I think RAH line of figures only came close to a Cobra Special forces with the African Heroes. It had different color vipers.

The main reason I like the Devil Due Comic's Plague is because each member is made form other Cobra forces. Each member has their purpose like a SEAL team. Heavy gunner, ninja scout, sharp shooter, & JetPack trooper.

:D I'm sorry I just found that funny, a SEAL team with a Heavy gunner, ninja scout, sharp shooter and JetPack trooper! - I do know what you are saying though
and the Devils Due comics about them are fantastic! I really liked it. It gave more of a sense of "realism" to me that Cobra would do something like this, combine the efforts of their best and brightest (and yes looking at the roster one would roll ones eyes at Cobra if this is the best and brightest, but it works on the comics!)
