night viper?

hearing about some great new year sales, i started looking around. if some of these guys consider their prices sales i would hate to see their normal price. jacking up prices on joes to make money, nothing makes me sicker. it wouldnt be so bad, but a lot of these guys say their joe fans themselves. anyway, thats got me to wondering this. how much would you be willing to pay for this funskool night viper mint in bag, or what would a good price be?

So you don't think that the original night viper should hold a true value amount?
What price are we talking here hersh?

Define for me what a jacked up price would be on Night-Viper?

If it's anything lower than $10 you should be shot.. :o

there about $7 on smalljoes soo out of the package in just a bag i'd say around $4-$3 for it

no accessories? well i wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks for a funschool night viper without any accessories and anyone charging more than that and calling themselves a fan well i don't know

I bought a dozen moc Funskool NV's a few years back for about $6 (US) each. For a bagged one with no accessories, I wouldn't part with more than $4, maybe not even that.

What is being a fan have to do with what you charge or get for a item? If I have something & you want it, am I suppose to give it to you, because we are fans? I am a fan & I make a living selling toys & alot of them are GI Joes! I don't rip people off, but I do get FAIR market value! I can list a complete v1 Night Viper in my store for $20 & it will be sold within the hour! I am a fan, beacause if you don't want to pay what I am willing to give it up for, then it stays in my display case! That Funskool stuff is crap! I would not own one & sure as hell would not sell one to one of my customers! Its amazing how people don't want to pay for anything, but once they have something want to know what they could get for it! Capitalism is as American as GI Joe!

selling something complete at a reasonable price for the value it's fine but charging an outrageous price for a piece of crap and then claiming to be a fan while trying to rip off other people is just wrong

I bought about 6 of the funskool ones a few year back. I forget what I paid, but they're cool! They're in the next couple chapters of my dio. :)

I couldn't agree more. This is exactly the problem with some people.
An original Night-Viper should fetch between $18-$20 MLC.

However funskool stuff is a cheaper alternative to army building, I guess if you wanted a diorama or scene with 15-20 Night vipers in it could get costly at $20 a go. :o

Still waiting on a response from the threadstarter..

a response, here.

i do not call buying a night viper at 8$ and selling it around 20$ fair. not a fan either, more of a collector. a collector buys for the price and in hope then in the future they can get big money. a fan buys for the love and help other fans out(like most on here, ender and many, many others). and as for calling the funskool crap, take a look, no big changes there. but i guess when your selling the original for 20$ or so you have to make the other stuff seem like crap so people buy your stuff.

i am a fan, never had a lot of joes as a kid, dont have a lot now. knowing how it is, i will try to help out the real fans by getting them whatever i can for the cheapest price. i think of most people on here as friends, even if i really dont talk to many and dont know them by their first name. thats why i could not sell a toy that i truly love and make a big profit from it. i understand making a few bucks here and there, to help get other joes i would want, but not double or triple the price. so ill just buy the funskool or wait for the 25th.
