Good news everyone! call your big lots and check em too! i just picked up a ifv and a battlefield play set! woohoooo! hoping the humvees come out as well as the other tanks but im happy for now! :) jus a heads up dont say the Dread didnt warn ya! on a side note ive had family looking for me on the east coast and they get the same reply! that the pte stuff is mostly on the westcoast market who'd a thought? weird or lazy employees! sorry if there was already a biglots thread I didnt see it! your mostly non existant DD

oh it happened and now i am painting the hell outta them! :) some just details some complete do overs! :D

The IFV paint isn't that bad, just a bit sloppy in places. The overall pale olive works for my Oktober Guard, but it needs some detailing. Plus, I want to gut it and cut open the back door. A lot of work for a toy, though. Not the near-perfection of the FAV. And that "battlefield" building you picked up will look awesome when you get through with it!

Side note: last weekend I saw 2 F-18s at the Big Lots in Denver on Iliff. An awesome jet; it was all I could do not to buy it! My Skystriker doesn't see enough use as it is.

Big Lots 'round hyar didn't get squat. Nothing but the copters, the carded guys and the little boxed sets.

thats how it was for a month before yeasterday over here homie! call dem and bother them! mine had them sitting in the back and only pulled em out cause i called so much it was a bother for them not to put em out! :) unless your on the east coast then it might not happen!

The BigLots! near me has the armored HMMWVs, the cargo HMMWVs, the FAV, the tank, the MH-6 Little Bird and few others. WELL stocked too. gotta get over there soon and avoid the rush.
They also had a pretty good handful of the 25th comic packs.

A bud took that IFV and did just that, added a working back door and gave it benches on the inside. Did a lot of work on it, hatches and such, and a new paint job.

I had bought one but the thing was fragile, broken in the box and it broke again trying to put the shovel on the clips. That's made me hesitate to buy more of the stuff. I like the looks of them but I don't know about the quality. The little bird, the patrol boat...

I went back wednesday and they had put out more stuff, the tower, the house base, SWAT figure packs and the humvees. No SWAT Humvee, though, or that Chinese utility vehicle.

Did have the new tank for $25. First time I've seen it.

SWAT humvee???? I've seen the SWAT Little Bird thats armed JUST like the military one but just comes with the SWAT guys. Cyko picked me up the ARH Aerial Rocket Helicopter but with no rockets of course but it is pretty sweet. Yes I LOVE helicopters. :D If I wasn't a type 1 diabetic I'd have been in the army flying them. :(
Another thing is IF you buy a lot of stuff get a Big Lots buyers card where when you buy 10 things there the 10th time they give you a 20% coupon.

The PTE IFV is a weak substitute, no doubt. For me, it's something unique (non-Joe or Cobra) for the Oktober Guard to drive around in. I mean, I can't just drop 'em in an AWE Striker and call it good. The FAV is a Chinese vehicle, too.

Thanks for the HT link; I'm still amazed at how people can cut off that back door so cleanly. Even with a dremel, I'm afraid of hacking it up.

There was a fellow at JoeCustoms that made a Soviet BTR out of a Joe APC that looks incredible. Helluva lot of work, too.

Be sure to check biglots. I came across tones of the Resolute Comic Packs today. I didn't need them but do remember them being almost imposible to find at retail when they came out originally. If anyone needs any let me know in the next couple days as I will be going by that store probably thursday morning. They are 10 bucks each if I remember correctly.

i went to big lots to night and they had everything at-least vehicle wise! camo humvee, night ops humvee, towers, to different looking cargo trucks and a tank and new looking helicopter! they also had figure packs with all the diff accessories! good luck dread out! :D

then they didn't have EVERYTHING vehicle wise cause they didn't have the Su-27 :p lol I kid since no one has it in the US it seems. :mad:

Looks like some are starting their PTE restocks! I bought the locker/bunk set, a tent, and some new vehicle called "Amphibian" today. Also, some of the new 5 POA Star Wars were there as well. Happy hunting!

The Star Wars Legends are $1 there, too.

I didn't see the amphibian, but, yeah, the tents and locker/bunks are back here.

Some have see the arctic tracked humvee...I think. Maybe they were talking about the back of the box.

Nope someone found those winter Humvees. None by me though.

Though if you get it and you want to paint it make sure to either give it a mineral water bath OR use Primer paint on it before painting it whatever color your going to...especially yellow, red, or orange....Even if using Krylon Fusion..
