How short are thse tripods? the one I use is 4 inches at hte minimal, so I have to set my figure up on a rock to get eye level with my camera lense

i'll take a pic of it soon with figure beside it for size comparison

Hey, I have one like that... cost me more than $0.99 though. Went to Ace and didn't see one, but that was before you posted this pic. I'll have to return and look for that type.

They go good as a tripod to hold LED flashlights.

I got a really good one from walmart for $3.50 in 2000 for my Battletech miniature hobby, I'll have to take a pic of it. It's shorter and allows different angles.

I got one for about $5.00 at Wal*Mart a few months ago. It's more solidly built and sturdier than some of the more expensive tri-pod I've come across.

It's also been a great for helping with photos of all kinds and I'd recommend everyone should ivenst in one. It sure stopped the shakey pictures and has made taking pictures in low light and darkness a lot better as the shutter stays open longer so you're more prone to having blurry pictures in the dark.
