Big Lots gets 25th Joes
 

I only went to one Big Lots store (on Hampton, in Aurora, CO) but they were full to the brim with modern figures. Eels, Sgt. Airborne, Pilot Scarlett, Zartan (with awesome Chameleon), Cobra Bazooka Soldier, Cobra Paratrooper and a few Trackers. At $4 each, it's a bargain. Too bad I'm a vintage collector. :o

I saw earlier today that those guys were showing up at ollies and marcs. But we don't have those down here. Hopefully our big lots will get them...

You could offer to do some trades.

If I find an EEl, I will gladly trade it for a 3 pack of 1998 Cobra Infantry. :p

And I'll totally pick up figures for anyone not near a Big Lots or that wants them. Just PM or email me. Grabbed a few today. They've still got a lot, but only the characters I mentioned. I'd need to charge for shipping, or we could trade. My full want list is at YoJoe.com.

Also, they're selling mucho Star Trek figures: 3 3/4" and 6" (?). The small guys are $3 and the larger ones $6, I think. A million Chekov & Sulu, a few Kirk, Spock & the Romulan guy. The Enterprise bridge and Transporter Room are $10 each. A bargain, but I just haven't bought them... yet.

My Big Lots had them. I bought up all the EELs (7) they had and a Zartan. I would be willing to part with one or two of them if someone needs them.

I'm not really into 25th, too tall. A shame, those Eels look cool otherwise.

I picked up 6 eels and two of the flint cobra figs. There was even a Matt tracker there along with zartan/chameleon,pilot scarlet,baz troopers,paravipers,and airborne.The other two locations didnt have any...But I will keep checking for more eels..

You can never have too many Eels! :D

I went to my local big lots and found nada, did get a good deal on the trek transporter room though ($10) and already managed to shoot a sceane with it.

Didn't find any thing at 3 different Big Lots just some Joe movie Combat Heros and some of the Star Trek stuff.

Picked up more EEls at a second big lots for a total of 13 between the two stores.

I found figures at the Colorado Springs Big Lots. $4.00. I stocked up on Cobra infantry and got Zartan with the swamp skier. This is a great price. Back in 1987, Joes went for $3.33 at my local Meijers store.

Nothing at mine, (And I need a trakker, zartan, and pilot scarlett).

Partial score. Still gonna look at some others, there were no eels or cobra flints...

Sorry to dredge this thread up, but has anyone seen 3.75" Star Trek figures at Big Lots other than Kirk, Spock, Chekov, Sulu and the Romulan guy? Or does anyone know where to get bridge/computer parts? The Bridge playset itself really doesn't have many parts. I'm addicted to the chairs and vertical panels. ;)

TRU has em at $5 a piece. Which figs do you need specifically?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't some of those bridge pieces supposed to come with the next wave that got cancelled?

Ah, that explains it. The mousy guy from the ice planet with Scotty would've had 2 pieces and space suit Kirk would have the other transporter console (damn!). Thanks for the TRU tip, Dan; I was happy to see Pike and Cadet Bones panels fit together for the outer ring (blue chairs). Guess I could just buy a bunch of them. But I'm bummed they were out of Uhura. Anyone know if she comes with a bridge piece?

thats what i did i bought a bunch of em at 3 bucks it aint bad! so now i got a bunch of the same startrek toys i dont want! garage sale! lol :D
