Newbie here, with a few customs to share

This is my first ever thread, and I just wanted to share a few customs (is this the place to put them?).

I already have my flame suit on, so no worries about the comments.

My First Vehicle Custom (World Peacekeepers Black Hawk Re-paint)

Pardon the quality of the pictures. I'm no photographer, and just used what the Chinese call "stupid person's camera" (translated from the Chinese slang for a point and shoot digicam). Below are individual pics.

Pardon the crappy call signs as well. I wasn't in the mood when I came up with these, and haven't changed them since. :D

Thanks you all...! They are actually just mostly head and body part swaps, with a few paint apps. Actually, that's the beauty of using a point and shoot digicam - there are quite a few imperfections that aren't too apparent. But well, I just wanna play with them with my son, so small flaws are ok.

Speaking of which, as soon as my son saw the modified Scope (which was my character when we were playing before) he asked me if he could play Scope. Now I have to create another character. Just another excuse to bring the customizing kit out. :D

Fantastic customs. Can also post them in the gallery, just 3 pics in a row at a time, though.

I've been upgrading my joes with a similar team, and another "high tech" team. I really like Clipboard. Where is that head from? A really impressive team you have. Would love to see them out in the field, going on a mission.

Clipboard's head is a Star Wars Senator Amidala head, and the cap came from a World Peacekeepers vehicle set.

I'm still trying to put together a cityscape type dio, as I don't have a garden to do an outdoor shoot. As soon as I'm done with that, I'll have some shootout and urban warfare pics.




Hehehe. I know it's a bit of overkill, but I've always believed that the secondary weapon should still be an automatic weapon. In the case of Big Bore, both are his primary weapons, but the silenced NVR Rifle is for stealth ops, and the SAW is for combat.

Those are awesome! Great imagination (the only skill you need around here) most of us use point and shoot, you just tend to get better with the advice and expierience from others around here (I think thats really the underlying theme of Joe Dios) I personaly think everyone who has joined and stuck around has improved with time. We all had those first posts! Welcome aboard! :)
