Power Team Elite, Check Your Big Lots!
 

For everyone who was waiting for big lots to get PTE stuff in, mine has almost everything in abundance. I went in today with my wife for a new computer desk and persuaded her to let me look in the toy aisle. Mine had the following:

-Head Quarters $30
-black Little bird assault helo $12
-Flak Cannon $18
-Patrol Boat $12(I think)
-Watch Tower $10
-Military Buggy $9
-Jungle, Desert, and Canopy Humvee $15 each
-Abrams Tank $24
-Marine, SAS, Seal and Delta squad team packs $5 each
-Various Single figure w/ accessory pack $3 each

This was everything I remembered before my wife drug me out the store. I would have stcked up on Humvees if I hadn't spent $65 2 days before at TRU on exclusives. Next month I'm goin for broke. :D

I scored a Camo Hummer today at one of the Big Lots Stores near me,i've been wanting that one since last Fall.All they had at that Big Lots was all the different Hummers,and the Patrol Boat.Theres another Big Lots Store pretty close,so i'm going to see what all they got in...

Found a couple of patrol boats for 14, and a jeep with a bridge for 24, same dune buggy,watch tower, some horse and camel ridin mofos. Guess the rest hasnt been placed out yet.

for $30 it should be the one you see most often w/ the stairs inside and the front looks like a house

Yeah, that one! Went back today and got two Humvees, one camo and one with the removable canopy. I'm going to get another two next month.

The dune buggies still $8? Can someone snag me 3 and I'll get you back on the 15th?

Humvees used to be $13. Now $15.

Buggies might be $9 or $10.

Yeah, the prices have went up somewhat, but you get a lot of figures and accessories. I think I have about 30 PTE figs just from buying vehicles and such. And I think I got about as many gas cans.

The BIG LOTS here has everything they had last year now, except the Abrams "Combat Tank".

Buggies are $9 now.

Also, some Chap Mei police force and Bad Guys small $8 vehicles. Mini Tank, small armored truck with a turret, a four wheel buggy thing, and a oversized motorcycle "hog" with a gunner's station on back

BIG LOTS is putting out seasonal Power Team Elite stuff now.

So far the one near me has:

Military figure packs 3 guys and the gear $6 each (I'd swear they've gone up again.)
Mini Military Sets, one figure with somethig, same as previous years (camel, horse, paratrooper, campfire) $3.50 each
Mini SWAT sets, one figure with accessories (haven't seen these in years,, dog with checkpoint gate/fence, 2 different damaged brick wall sets, black motorcycle) $3.50
Military Little Bird copter (attack/armed version), same as ever, black colored, 2 figures, barbwire fence piece...for some reason.
SWAT Little Bird copter (attack/armed version), same as military, with different figures and accessories. That's disappointing.

That's all so far. Packages show recent stuff on the back, the desert building, new tank, that new jet fighter, but nothing previously unseen.

Maybe they'll get the black SWAT humvee, all the other SWAT stuff shown looks the same as the military. Black blackhawk, black boat....

Perhaps this year I'll finally break down and grab the HQ. I've been putting it off because everybody uses it but I'll just have to find a way to personalize it or something. Playsets are a lost art in this toy age. I need to grab another canopy Humvee too and a couple of the tiny sets too at some point.

Which H.Q. is it and do they have the a.i.f.v.?

I just want some lockers, bunk beds, and targets for dio use, I called my Big Lots and Nothings there yet!

The Chinese vehicles are also out there.
The battle tank & FAV in particular are being found. Unfortunately no Chinese soldiers are packaged with those just the regular ones.
I hope my Big Lots gets the jet & helicopter. That helicopter better come with the missile pods this time!

AFAIK, Big Lots hasn't gotten in the bunk/locker set in years anyway.

Plus when you order from MJ and mention your a member on a Joe/Star Wars board he sends you a freebie weapon of your choice....usually excluding the gatling guns and backpack though.

Sure you could buy from Big LOts or Marauder Inc, but why not pay 3 to 4 times those prices!

Never seen the horse/cycle/sandbag pack before. Nothing new there, just never seen them packaged like that.

There is a camel version of that set too (instead of the horse)

Saw some of this in my area as well, the figure packs, the chopper, the figure with wall etc.

i heard about these Tuesday but my big lots is always slow. They havent stocked theirs yet. They look cool though.

None here yet, but they had two Chap Mei soldier force vehicles, a dune buggy and the recent jeep with roll cage, each with two figures. The buggy isn't their original AWE Striker knock-off, but a more hollow looking newer mold. Neither seemed worth $10 each.

My wife picked these up for me yesterday while i was at work. Lol. The body on the snowmobile is neat but it has back wheels instead of treads and the skids on front are stationary. They have three new head sculpts all blonde haired and blue eyed. One looks alot like duke. The helmet and hat that come with the three pack are soft like their vests and belts. Love the hat btw.

I had a chance to stop by a big lots today, and they did have the snowmobile set. I didn't buy it though, because to be honest it looked really "cheap". The wheels instead of treads look bad, and the body didn't seem to have much to it.

Yeah, it looks bad. From what I could tell it replaced the camel set in this years small assortment , I remember when those small packs were like $3.50. $5 for the parachute guy seems way too much.

*Others are kayak, horse, motorcycle, lean-to camp, paratrooper with working chute.

That's it. Nothing new. Didn't make it over to the newer bigger Big Lots.

I haven't taken a close look at the snowmobile but it has a vintagey look that might work with Z and Action Force figures.

Went to the other Big Lots nearby. They had the same old Humvees ($20), though no covered cargo ones...maybe they sold them already, and the 3 pack carded figures. There's a new arctic forces 3 packs which includes the snow mobile figure and two guys with new heads, one with a removable cap, the other with a removable helmet. Why the one guy remains hatless, I don't know. Also, they are all blonds! Unlike the older teams, there's only the 3 heads, not 6 different ones. Their other gear looks to be the same as Desert Marines, which they replace in case assortments from what I could tell. So you have 3 arctic camo guys with a sandbag emplacement.

$7 a set. I recall when they were $5. :(
