Man I was worried there for a second. Glad to see everything's back.

For some reason I'm not able to get to the home page. Could be to I'm on the computer at work too.

Hmm... All I see on the main page are the updates. No sidebar listing New Posts, and no "New Dios" and "New Photos" sections...

I got no new pictures showing at all on the main page.. but if I go to the photo's section they do load fine. Thanks for sorting the domain problem out :D

I've gotten a few PMs about problems on the website.


Please list the problems since what I tend to see is NOTHING that you guys see.

I just log on when I turn my computer on in the morning, then minimize the screen when I'm not checking on stuff. But I leave the window open all day until I shut down for the night. I have no problems *knock, knock*. :cool:

I can't view the dio links for some odd reason :confused: ah well, the fel should know :o

I think it might be a problem with the cookies. When I dump my cache and come back, before I log in, I see it like I used to with the latest 3 dios and pics on the main page, but once I enter my username and password, It goes back to just having the admin posts and the toolbar! the random pics, the latest dios and pics dissappear....

My only issue is that it no longer has the sidebar that says if there are new posts and PMs, and the three newest dios and photos aren't displayed. All I'm seeing are the updates that used to be below all the pictures when you'd first sign on.

Same as ender, S-M and Jay. My home computer is always signed in, but I've looked at the site at work (without signing in) and everything's normal.

I can't actually sign out of the site at home as I only get the toolbar across the top but no user ID box with that option!

It was like that for me for a while, I thought it was some kind of layout change.

Earlier I was getting a message saying the server was too busy; looking it up, it seemed like a problem with too few concurrent connections being allowed in vB's configuration.

My guess would be either that or database server downtime, though I don't know if that would generate the same error, since I'm not that familiar with vB.

Quick question for those of you that have picture signatures.. whats the image size of signatures. I wanted to do one of Firefly. :D

You know Rich, I don't remember offhand.........but I do know that if you make up a sig and attempt to insert it, it will tell you the dimensions if it's too big.........

I wish I had more to give ya, but at least it's a start, right???

I just wanted a base for it.. but I'll get creative and try and insert something to the forum If its too big I'll resize it.. OMG that sounded too rude. :o

I've got some firefly pictures I could try and some text to put with it.. My older signatures were just text alone.. and I feel i've been static with my creativity :cool:

So I tried a picture from a URL on Flickr. It was of the NLC. The picture was 500 x 375 and it allowed me to store it?
For some reason that seems so huge.. shouldnt there be a restriction? :confused:

Well, there is some sort of restriction........when you go to use it, if it's too big it'll tell you...........

I know that I'm not really a help at all, the truth of the matter is that I didn't even make my own sig..........the admin on HISSTank.com did it for me.......part of a sig contest..........but I do love it soooo much that I'm not getting rid of it........unless I can figure out 'how' to make them myself..........hehehe

I know. Your signature is one of the reasons I wanted to make one myself! :D

I can only hope mine shows as much class. They don't allow you to have signatures like that at Yojoe. Which is a pity but understandable why they do that. So i'm looking to my arty creative side here at JD to get my signature done.

I want my profile to be as cool as some as the others I've seen on here. I know what you mean about the creation as I aint that techincally gifted creating them myself. :o

all day today everytime i try to upload a pic, i get an error. is anyone else getting uplaod errors today? ive never had a prob before, and i can't figure out if it my comp or the upload system?

Your not the only one. A few hours ago i tried to post pics of some more of my customs, but got an error meassage. :confused: :(
