Giving or destroying my arah figs
 

Due to lack of space and the 25th line thinking about giving away or destroying my arah figs. Lots of cobras from 8o's and joe. i destroyed most from the 90's because they looked stupid and hated the bright colors. And on my 40th birthday; if it weren't for old geezers like me buying hundreds of figs thru the years; the line would not have lasted this long. So forgive me as I purcase the 25th and head off into the sunset of collecting GI Joe.

Dude, don't destroy them!! I'm sure that there are plenty of members who would love to work something out with you.



Would you accept them sending you PM's to work out personal agreements for the figures, etc. ??

I would definately give them away or sell them. Let someone else get some use out of them. Especially if it's a child you could brighten someone's day!!! :D

I have an idea.
Why don't you hold a competition here for them, a weekly one to give away 5 figures etc.
Keep doing this until you've got rid of all your ARAH Figures.

At best you could always hand them in at a charity shop or small youth center for a needy kid. Don't destroy them. :o

I know I might sound hypocritical because I destroyed a terror drome but I use parts from it all the time, don't destroy your figures sell them, trade them, heck if you have any stuff I'm looking for I'll buy some 25th crap to trade you :D

You can always send it to charity! Would be the best thing to do IMO. Or of course sell it to Ender and others who lan to buy it.

Ya'll have been duped! No 40 year old (Iknow I turned 40 last month) is going to give away or destroy his vintage collection for the 25th crapola. They might buy some 25th for their kids (my 10 year old has better taste, she wants 80's stuff) but the 25th stuff can never replace your childhood toys if you still have them! I think he is trying to get a rise out of everyone & he succeeded!

This is not a dupe, I just don't have the space. I'M thinking of sending them all to Scarlett for prizes for best dio or best picture. I'm keeping the weapons and vehicles. In my own opinion i don't see myself selling them. Recently i gave away my marvel comics to two kids. Including the final issue. I got alot of questions and its amazing how much they liked them ;then I was told they would sell them for money. That made me angry. the only reason i stay here locally is that my mom is in the final stages of a terminal illness. Once she passes I'm moving to a warmer climate where jobs pay real money. I want to hear what Sonnelion says. I trust his judgement and he's the only dude that makes me laugh on this site. I also respect Flint and Scarlett's opinion. I am warry of shipping costs. This is not a joke; or prank. I don't joke around anymore. Maybe I'll whittle down my doubles For the dude who needs 86 vipers I'll send you two free. Email address privately.

Carlos IM'd me this morning. If you don't feel like ebaying the figures, give 'em away to people who want 'em or donate to charity. I've donated a lot to Goodwill myself.

My Friend, Heartfelt condolences for your mothers condition. Again, If you need some money for these items, I wil gladly pay you for them and pay the shipping. Everyone on here knows I NEVER sell anything. I give my spare stuff to collectors who are in need. I have given away hundreds of items to include figures, vehicles and a few playsets. The only times I have ever asked for money is if someone wants me to pick up new items fro a local Big Lots or TRU. It angers me too when I log on to eBay and see people scalping they toys that made me happy as a child for ridiculious prices and people forced to pay that for them. I'm not begging here (although some may accuse me of it) it's just that I can tell from your own words that you are in the straights financially and I am offering you a way to ease your financial problem and give your childhood toys a "loving home" with someone who won't use them to line his own pockets. The choice is yours. I respect whatever decision you make. An I hope you see this as what it is, an ofer of help to someone in need and not me trying to be greedy. God bless.
