Saw at TOYs R Us a Firefly vs Greenshirts ad, anyone got pictures.

I wasn't even aware of this one!

You'll be lucky if the con set ISN'T 25A! Hasbro is pushing this body style so don't get your hopes up at all to see ARAH-like figures ever again.

That will be a tragedy, but I knew it was coming. I've bought every con set from the Crimson Vipers on, but it won't matter how cool the theme is this year, if it's 25A I wouldn't even take one for free. Seriously. :(

I'm with you there. Wait! I better not go there. After I got the first two 5 packs (I wanted to give them a chance! ) I swore I wasn't gonna buy anymore, but I COULDN'T pass up a Pimp Daddy Destro...then they came out with the DD version of Serpentor, and I said "Ok, that's it...no more." and then I see the night watch. I think I'm gonna stop trashing these guys, (even though they are in my opinion, crap!) and just do like I did when ARAH went to $hit in 1991- 1995 and selectively pick up what I want.

But I think if they make the Con Sets 25th anny body styles I'll probably let my MC membership expire and not renew it.

Watch, it'll be some sort of gnarly Viper set for the Con. Like, oh I dunno, Viper Lockdown Part 2 or something.

Yeah, the poses on the 25th are limited and I have to keep the figures from falling off the stands. The detail though to me is the reason I get them. U can harldly put a MP-5 in a cobra soldiers hand but what the hell.

You guys are so weird. I have no problem with them on their stands and doing a bit of cutting here and there, the posing is just fine. HOWEVER, I'm not SOOOO into them that I'll build them like I am VvV VIpers, DTC Blueshirts and ST NeoVipers.

Yeah, i know i'm weird. however if it weren't for collecting I'd probably blow a gasket. Collecting helps me blow off steam and forget my problems for awhile. Talking and corresponding and seeing your pictures and dioramas has helped quite immensely. it's good to know there are fellow people with the same interest I have. And Sonny, I always look forward to your commentary and sense of humor. it helps keep me goin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find that the 25th are a lot more poseable then other counterparts :confused:
And my mp5's fit the cobra's perfectly :eek:

Oh well to each their own - 25th are the reason I got back into collecting the joes from my childhood after all.

Which kind of MP-5s, is it maurader or elite force. mine are mostly elite force.

Well I don't know what Elite Force are, so you got me there ;)
I use mauraders myself and they work perfectly with the 25th
